The colors chosen for a website rely mainly on the opinion of the owner and designer of that website. Many times this step is overlooked or passed over quickly which is a shame. Choosing colors for your site in many ways determines the quality and experience for your user. There are an infinite number of hues (variations of color) in the visual spectrum. That means there are an infinite number of blues, oranges, yellows, greens and so on. With such a huge library of options, how can this step be a taken so lightly? Carefully considered colors can distinguish a dated, unimpressive site from a professional, clean, and impressive one. However, it isn’t too critical WHEN in the process you determine your colors.
