Eris Poringer is an accomplished web designer that founded her web and graphic design studio, Lose The Box Design, in 2005 right after college. In 2009 Lose The Box Design added video production for the web. She possesses a wide range of experience in graphic design, web design and development, photography, video editing, and videography (shooting video with DSLR 7D Cannon Cameras). Her program and code knowledge includes Adobe Creative Suite, XHTML, advanced CSS, editing and utilizing PHP, Scripts, JQuery, AJAX, & Final Cut Pro. Eris attended Brandeis University in 2001 where she studied studio fine art and international political economy. Her writing experience in college revolved around political and business writing. She completed her thesis in fine art and received high honors. Eris currently resides in North County San Diego. She is a member of Graphic Design Professionals (LinkedIn), San Diego Graphic Designers (Meetup), Semantic Web (Meetup), SandCHI (Usability Networking Group), and North County Graphic Designer (LinkedIn) as a coordinator.
